Arbutus Unedo, nome scientifico del Corbezzolo dove “ar” sta per sour e “butus” significa bush. Often, the strawberry takes arboreous type also reaching 10 meters height.

 In Sardegna è particolarmente conosciuto per la produzione del tipico bitter honey dalle proprietà antisettiche e per la cura delle affezioni bronchiali. Nel nostro paese l’arbusto è conosciuto anche come la “plant Garibaldi” per via dei colori che richiamano la bandiera italiana: il verde delle foglie, il bianco dei fiori e rosso dei frutti.
