A place is rare and extraordinary, a hidden jewel of the Gerrei, the site of Tuviois it is perhaps the only example in the Area of forest, ancient, relict virgin forest, and undisturbed, not far from the plain urbanized, miraculously escaped the ravages of man. The forest of Tuviois also presents a historical mining activity that takes the name “Silver road”. The first mining operations were made in 1867 by entrepreneurs sardinia and Liguria, which mined galena and argentite, there are still visible several extraction wells.
